1st Samuel 15: 22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
It's amazing, and disheartening at the same time, to see how most of earth’s inhabitants have gobbled up the diabolical cool-aid. Persons in contemporary Christianity now teach their congregants that God’s law has been abolished, or nailed to the cross, and all you have to do is love God. Thus, love to God is divorced from obedience, and many have substituted praise, where obedience has come up short.
But the Bible teaches us that love to God is measured by obedience, and if it ever comes down to the wire, where The Lord had to choose between praise and obedience, He will absolutely choose obedience over praise. That’s why Revelation chapters 13 and14 never ever mention the word love, not even once, because the love of God is not the issue in our day. The elephant in the room is the law of ten commandments which points to The Creator of the heavens and earth.
Therefore, it is His sole prerogative to establish laws which govern His domain and territories. The study for today will expose the two sides of the issue pertaining to God’s law. We’ll also take a deep dive into the pros and cons, and the reasonings that are given in the Bible, and those that come from the prince of darkness, so that everyone can make their intelligent choice to serve God, as we encourage all to do so.
Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
