How To Deal With Injustice. Part [2] 02/07/2026 (Morning thought)

Matthew 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

David was prevented from building the temple, and the reason given was that he had shed too much blood with his own hands, in his capacity as king of Israel. However, with the first Advent of Christ there was a great change in heaven and in earth, because every human being, every unfallen angel, and every other planet where unfallen citizens are to be found were made beneficiaries of what Jesus accomplished at the cross.

Among some of these great changes that occurred was the sudden curtailing of all God ordained wars, where He would send His people to war against the nations and peoples who were then antagonistic to the early Christian church. The death of Jesus Christ had accomplished its God-ordained purpose, and as such, the fighting that was previously done by God’s people, was scheduled to come to an abrupt end.

This is the reason why you hear Jesus speaking as He did, on the former ways and means that were employed. Matthew 5:39 But (a conjunction that is used to introduce a phrase or clause contrasting with what has been already mentioned) I say unto you, that you resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Matthew 5:41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
