Acts 10:19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. 20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
As the early rain fell upon the disciples, a mixture of people were drawn to church, which included many of the very priests who were at one time adamantly against Jesus, and there were also some who were deceived previously; some who had had the seeds of truth sown in their own hearts earlier, which now sprung up and bore fruit to the glory of God.
Also included were many who were sitting on the fence, in the valley of decision, some who had been prevented from making their choice by some family members, some who had persecuted the church, and yes, there were even some witch doctors and their adherents who were given a shot at eternal life.
This then tells us that as the latter rain begins to fall upon the earth, millions of people will be coming in, and as such, the remnant church must be prepared to receive all who will be brought in at that time. No barriers, prejudices, and formalisms are to interfere with the rapid work that God will be doing, for it is a short work that will be done at that time.
Acts 8: 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
