Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This sacred truth about the gospel being given to all people, must be understood by everyone to whom the three angel’s messages are entrusted to disseminate to the people. In other words, our view should be to make it as easy for a person to accept Christ, not to make it as difficult, for God is the only One who can accurately read the hearts and minds of persons.
“Every kind” means every kind. It means that there were some clean fishes with fins and scales, but the net also pulled in some sharks, octopus and shrimp. In other words, the gospel will take in different folk who might be attracted to the church for different reasons. Some may be attracted by the prospect of health and wealth.
Others may be attracted by the prospect of power, while others may even be attracted by the prospect of finding a spouse. The personal reasons why they would come, should not be as a deterrent, or as an approval to those who are giving the gospel call. It is left up to God to make the correct determination.
1st Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.
