The Resurrection. Part [3] 03/19/2021 (Evening thought)

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Having Divinity blended with humanity guaranteed the mitigation of all inherent risks to the incarnation of Christ, for although He would retain His freedom of choice like any man, and though He would be sorely tempted to deviate from the plan, and even though men and demons would tempt Him to the core, yet, the basic fact of the blend brings positive outcomes into all seemingly negative situations.

The blending of human and Divine nature is the way in which our salvation, and ultimate resurrection is accomplished. Jesus united His Divinity with fallen humanity so that the humanity could be rendered impregnable to all the assaults of our unseen foes, including death, by us choosing, believing and obeying through faith.

Pointer # [2] The power in the blend comes from the presence of The Third person of The Godhead, and that is why all who desire to come up at the first resurrection must have partaken of The Holy Ghost during their lifetime.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
