Romans 11:34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counselor?
We’re indeed humbled when we think of the extent and depth of thought that went into the planning and fulfillment of Christ’s incarnation and ultimately His resurrection. Thus, as we examine the following important points about the blessed hope, let us all believe, understand, and obey, so that we all may be present at the first resurrection. Pointer # [1]: The guarantee of our resurrection lies in the unique blend of humanity and divinity which is centered in Christ.
If we find The Lord speaking very confidently in the garden of Eden, after the fall of man, and essentially stating unequivocally that Jesus would be victorious in the conflict against sin and death, it’s because God knows what He is doing, and because He always knows the end from the beginning, He could plan strategically with perfect success every time.
Even though there might have been inherent risks involved in the incarnation, the fact that God can see the outcome of those risks means that He can plan, promise, and deliver. Thus, as the first promise was made to Adam and Eve, it was with perfect assurance that God offered hope beyond the grave to fallen man.
Genesis 3::15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
