Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Several interesting and pertinent commentaries are written by the servant of The Lord, on the issues of liberty, and they are noteworthy, since to too many individuals, the law of God is looked upon from the prohibitory side, instead of being a law of liberty. Take a look!… [G.C pp 499] He denounced the divine statutes as a restriction of their liberty and declared that it was his purpose to secure the abolition of law.
That, freed from this restraint, the hosts of heaven might enter upon a more exalted, more glorious state of existence… [D.A. pp 435] Lucifer desired God’s power, but not His character. He sought for himself the highest place, and every being who is actuated by his spirit will do the same. Thus alienation discord and strife will be inevitable. Dominion becomes the prize of the strongest.
The kingdom of Satan is a kingdom of force; every individual regards every other as an obstacle in the way of his own advancement, or a stepping stone on which he himself may climb to a higher place. The mark of the beast will focus our attention on the elephant in the room, which is the law of God, especially the issue of worship. Especially the fourth commandment will be the center of the controversy because earth’s inhabitants will have to decide what kind of liberty they prefer, the godly kind of liberty or the luciferian kind.
1st Peter 2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
