In satan’s brand of liberty, The God of heaven will not be permitted to encroach on your freedom to do what you think is best and right for you. As they say, it is my life, and nobody, not even the prince of darkness will interfere with my so-called freedom. On February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston was found submerged in a bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Her autopsy revealed a deadly mixture of drugs, which included cocaine, and marijuana, amongst others. Prince also died from a drug overdose, at his home in Minnesota on April 21, 2016. Like Whitney, he too had the freedom and the means to do whatsoever he liked, and thus, the toxicology report revealed a high concentration of fentanyl in his system. So yes, the prince of darkness also offers liberty, but on terms that are entirely different from God’s form of liberty.
With God, believing in Jesus, and obeying His laws form the basis of your liberty. With satan disobedience is the basis of your freedom, but you will die eternally in the process. The choice is yours, whether to be free and alive or to be free and dead. 2nd Peter 2: 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
2nd Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
