Heaven, A Place of Surprises. Part [1] 03/13/2026 (Evening thought)

Matthew 8:11 And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

There is no doubt that heaven is going to be a place of surprises. Persons who are not expected to be in heaven will be there, and some people who seem to have their seat secure, will be missing in action. The final day of accounts will have some surprising new revelations, about those who accepted Christ. The Bible teaches us that it is those who endure to the end, who will be saved, hence the reason why of late you find us stressing the importance of staying the course with Jesus.

Whatsoever you might have done, or did not do, just hang in there with Him and He will complete the work of salvation in your heart. Heaven is a place where people enter in single file, so if no one from your family is willing to enter, then you will have to respect their freedom of choice, for God doesn’t force heaven on anyone. Christ died so that we may have eternal life, but if family members are more important to us, than what Jesus did for us on Calvary, well then, the choice is ours.

Our family relations could often exert a very strong gravitational pull, because persons who are dearest and best form bonds that may not easily be broken. But the time comes when each individual will have to decide for himself, and if they choose Christ, that is fine but if they don’t, your personal decision must not be swayed by theirs.

John 21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
