Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
Thus, it is now fitting and necessary to define, and identify true worship, so that persons and families will not inadvertently bow down to devils anymore. The true worship of God has important identifying marks, of which we should be cognizant. [1] True worship will always include, and encourage the keeping of all God’s commandments, including the 4th, which the world is so prone to forget.
Worship has much more to do with obedience than praise, and therefore, all who desire to worship God in spirit and in truth will also be willing to obey Him. Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
1st John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1st John 2:6 He that saith he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
