Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
The kingdoms of this world are soon to become the kingdom of Jesus Christ, and thus, we are not to be shortsighted, in groveling in the here and now, but rather, believers should look forward to that final day, when prophecies will converge with reality, for God is still in control.
We will end with several passages of scripture taken from the book of Daniel, which confirm to us that, not only is God still in control, He will also land the proverbial plane, that has been subject to so much turbulence in the rise and fall of nations throughout history.
[The Great Controversy p 407] Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” [Hebrews 10:35-39.]
Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
