Pros And Cons Of Foreknowledge. Part [7] 05/11/2022 (Evening thought)

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

Thus you have the higher level of creations like you and me and the angels, who have been created with intelligence, and the freedom of choice. Believe it or not it’s us, the last category that gives God the most trouble, yet the freedom of choice and intelligence are good things, when used intelligently.

When God sent Noah to preach to the Antediluvian world, he did so for 120 years, and most of the folk who had intelligence and freedom of choice refused to go into the ark. But when God spoke to the lower life forms of animals, they did the right thing, as can be seen in the ratio of human beings to animals in the ark. Animals obeyed God’s voice while persons with intelligence refused.

Thus, in His foreknowledge, God was going to make a decision whether to move forward with creating beings who could turn on Him, and if He were to do so the question to be answered was, would it be the good, responsible thing to do. In other words would it have made sense to create them after all was said and done?

Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiles, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
