Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
Therefore, it is of great importance that as nations are increasingly becoming embroiled in real turmoil, that spouses seek to be aligned spiritually. This will call for soul-searching and often deliberations with the understanding, seeking to address whatsoever differences in spouses’ faith, and perspectives may exist.
Praying together, staying together, going to church together, studying God’s word together and talking together often, would go a long way in cementing the bond between husband and wife, so that their marriage could be bullet proof, if, and when tested severely by trials.
It is the will of God that as husbands and wives head into unchartered territory, that the same spiritual union which existed between Abraham and Sarah, be our own experience. One spouse walking by faith whilst the other spouse walks by sight is a recipe for disaster, because it is the faith factor that will loom large and necessary as earth’s final conflict unfolds.
1st John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
