Salvation To The Gutter-most. Part [10] 03/10/2022 (Morning thought)

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.39 For the promise is unto you and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

During the time of the latter rain, specific groups of individuals would be targeted by The Holy Spirit and some of them would seem to be unlikely candidates for heaven. Many folks will be coming from Sunday churches, and some who have heard of the Three angel’s messages for the first time would respond positively.

And many of our children who have gone astray in forbidden paths, will be granted the opportunity to repent and turn to Jesus in sincerity and truth. And there are many persons from different religious creeds who will be brought in at the eleventh hour, when the conscience is awakened to the realities of the message for God has people in every nation and in every religion under the sun.

And there are some persons in the church who are currently in a lukewarm state, yet The Lord has not written them off, for after issuing a stern rebuke in Revelation chapter 3, Jesus goes on to encourage us to repent, which means that there is still hope and room for change and thorough conversion, for if it were not so, He would have ended with the rebuke.

Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness does not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
