Diseases, Causes, And Cures. Part [3] 02/21/2022 (Morning thought)

Joshua 14:10 And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the Lord spoke this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

Abraham had six children after the age of 136, and that is why we caution persons who read and quote from the X-Perts, who very often leave God out of the picture. Caleb was not slack, as some men count slackness either, for he too conflicted with the conventional wisdom on aging. Again, we have the historical facts on Gideon, who was a full-grown man when the angel of The Lord, said unto him: “Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”

But lo and behold, we discover that Gideon went on to have a multitude of children, well into his golden years, hence the reason why we stated earlier, that the conventional wisdom on the elderly and aging must be taken with a pinch of salt. Thus, in addressing the issue of Diseases, Causes, and Cures, we must understand clearly the causes which trigger diseases in the first place, and the cures that are endorsed by God.

The causes will be divided up into two main categories: [1] Physical or natural causes, which deal with the laws of cause and effect in the physical realm. [2] Spiritual causes, which will deal with diseases and sickness which are caused by strictly spiritual factors, which have nothing to do with viruses or infections.

Psalms 103:Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
