Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Three important elements have to be present whenever, and wherever righteousness by faith is to exist, for without them, it is impossible for any person to be accounted as righteous. We will spend some time explaining and examining these three prominent features, because they form the bedrock of essentials to righteousness by faith.
[1] God is The Only One Who can initiate both the conversation and the promise. Were it not for the intervention of God in our fallen dilemma, there would never have been any hint of anything resembling salvation, arising from mortals. God is the one who came looking for Adam and Eve in the garden, He is the one who instituted the lamb as a sacrifice for sin. He is The One who made the promise in Eden, that the power of the serpent will be broken.
Again, God is the one who sends His angels to seek, and minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation and He ordains preachers and prophets to help us along the way to the kingdom. God also provides us with the motive power to do right, and to continue the war against internal and external foes.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
