1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
God never originally intended that boats should be used for travel. Airplanes and cruise liners, cars and other modes of transport that we’ve now become accustomed to, which pollute the atmosphere were never in God’s plan originally because all travel was meant to be accomplished in a manner that would be environmentally friendly.
There would be no ships, no airplanes, no rockets in heaven, nor cars nor any motorized vehicles, and if we are to ask an holy angel how to cross the Red sea, they would show us entirely different ways that would transcend our current knowledge of travel.
Thus, its not to make us look stupid why God often employs strange methods of faith; it’s just to show us that there are different, better, and easier ways of doing things using the methods of faith which in many instances might seem illogical to us. When it came time for Elijah to cross the Jordan, he took his mantle and smote the water, and he walked across on dry land.
2nd Kings 2:8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
