Job 40:7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Instead of us questioning and hating God for things we do not understand, or for which we only have limited knowledge, let us humble ourselves under His mighty hand, to see if like Uzzah, we may be walking contrary to any of the truths He has given us to live by.
And if so, let us then confess and forsake sin, and all unscriptural philosophies, which would lead us to presumption, as was the case with the one who touched the ark. God’s presence is promised and will be a blessing to all who love and obey Him, but God is also a consuming fire to those who deliberately reject His offers of mercy.
Thus, in all of His providences and dealings with persons, let us not find fault with Him, for faults only dwell with created beings, not with God. We’ll therefore end with two passages of scripture which should help to dispel the darkness and errors that have enveloped the minds of many persons as it pertains to God’s dealings with the human family.
Deuteronomy 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 3 Because I will publish the name of the Lord; ascribe ye greatness unto our God. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
