Lamentations 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
Yet, for all of His blessings and mercies, some folks still hate God. This animosity toward our Creator is indeed a naturally occurring phenomena, as it was handed down from generation to generation after the fall of our first parents. At that time God had to do something specific, in order to save the human family from eternal ruin. This enmity between ourselves and the serpent is something that God had to “Put” because without it every person would see eye to eye with the devil, in his rebellion against the government of God.
And as a direct result, everything that would be done by us would have been, to a greater or a lesser extent, a reflection of the war which was started in heaven by the devil. But the Bible is unequivocal in its declarations, that there is no good reason to hate God. Folks may, and do have their issues with Him, and His word, but at the end of the day, there exists no valid reason for anyone to hate God.
The reasons given in the Bible for persons hating God, may be difficult for some to come to grips with, or to acknowledge, but it is the truth, about why some people hate God. The three main reasons will be delineated with clarity, so that if any person so chooses, he/she may ask God for grace to correct any erroneous views that may have been harbored over the years.
John 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law: They hated me without a cause.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
