John 15:23 He that hates me hates my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no other man did they had not sinned, but now they have both seen and hated both me, and my Father.
There are several reasons why some persons hate God, not that any of these reasons are valid, but the fact is that the overwhelming majority of the earth’s inhabitants harbor a very deep resentment against our Creator. Even though He has died to save the human family, and even though He loads us with so many gifts, mercies, protections and blessings, yet, for one reason or another, some people hate God.
The Bible speaks extensively of The Triune God who constantly works in behalf of all the creatures that have been created by Him. From the little sparrows singing in the trees, to the mountains adorned with trees and flowers, to the food on our tables, and to the rain and sunshine coming in due season; all of them without exception, testify to God’s goodness.
Were it not for the tender mercies of God, devils would long ago have wiped the entire human race from off the face of the earth; and they would not have stopped there, for they would also have slain all the animals, birds, fish, and insects which share the planet with ourselves. It is nothing other than God’s grace and mercies why we are not consumed.
Psalms 104:13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works. 14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
