Creation Versus Evolution. 07/26/2015 (Morning thought)

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good"....

This passage of scripture teaches us beyond the shadow of a doubt that God not only created the heaven and the earth during the first week of creation, but also that man was included as the crowning work of His productions, to rule over all the earth, under the supervision of God. In describing what took place on the sixth day, the Bible teaches us that man was formed from the dust of the earth, after which God breathe into his nostrils the breath of life, and he then became a living soul. And to cap it all off, God declared that what He had done was very good, for Adam was made without any imperfections or blemishes whatsoever. Let's read:

Genesis 2:7  And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

But the theory of evolution begs to differ from what God has plainly stated, for it supposes that man was evolved from lower forms of life into what we now are, which in itself is one of the scariest ideologies that can ever be espoused by mortals, for it leaves the door wide open for us to continue evolving into what we do not know, nor can we ever be prepared for. Just recently a popular television celebrity evolved from a man into a woman, and if this trend was to continue, we might very well become extinct as a race.

The very thought that we can evolve, places us in a quandary of uncertainty, for then all of our so-called inventions that are geared towards our present creature comforts, may soon become obsolete and totally useless, since according to the warped theory of evolution, the possibility exists that we would evolve into another creature that does not need or use our current tools or devices. For instance, man in his early stages of development in the evolutionary process, would never have thought of a cell-phone as being necessary, because at that stage, there was no need or practical use for something so odd and farfetched.

In addition to this, the evolutionary process for some unknown reason has stalled out indefinitely, because over the last six thousand years, no change has taken place in our basic makeup. The fact is that mortal man will attempt to do anything to take God out of the picture, and if we have to degrade our own selves in the process, it seems as if we have no problem with that too.

Let us therefore stand firmly upon the true and reliable word of God, for not only does it make the origin of species plain, it is also able to make us wise unto salvation. We therefore end with a passage of scripture which corroborates the creation account, and may we ever honor God  by acknowledging the fact that it is He that has made us, and not we ourselves. Let's read:

Psalm 33:6  By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.  8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.  9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study and practice of His every word. God bless!
