Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
This passage of scripture reveals to us the undeniable truth that to every human being born into this world, there is given a knowledge of God at some level, some more and some less, but every intelligent person, without exception has had some personal conviction of the reality of God. Not only does nature speak loudly about the presence of an Omnipotent Being in the universe, but more so the Son of God, who came to this world to confirm the sacred truth that was queried for many centuries by those who wished to put God out of their thoughts. The revelation of God through Jesus Christ stands as a continual rebuke to the very flawed science of evolution, for His incarnation contains science on a totally different level, that cannot be otherwise explained, except we concluded that there must be a God somewhere. Let's read:
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
It is strange how when things are going good, and we are not plagued with insurmountable difficulties and hardship, that many people deny the existence of God, but when sudden tragedy hits without warning, and several thousand people are destroyed in an untimely way, most of us exclaim in consternation, the most commonly used phrase containing the name of God. Evolution is based on many suppositions that have not been proven in the real world, simply because they cannot be proven, and whenever these obstacles to congruent thought and analysis arise, instead of humbly admitting that God exists, many so-called scientists and philosophers search in vain for a way out by using billions and billions of years.
Jesus Christ was born of an earthly mother, but without an earthly father, a science that defies all logic and explanations, and we have the confirmation of His incarnation by the mention of His existence in most of the major religions of our day, including Islam, yet we have chosen to educate ourselves by using evolution as our guide. Charles Darwin came upon the scene of action just about the time that Christ entered the Most Holy place in 1844, around the time that the truth of the Sabbath was about to be reinstated in the hearts and minds of men, after being shrouded in darkness for 1260 years of papal rule. Then after Charles Darwin's so-called "Discoveries", the theory of evolution finally emerged upon the world stage, and was then incorporated into our educational system as the cornerstone for the origin of species.
But if we were to follow the logical reasoning of evolution, we will begin to see many holes in that science, for which there have never been given any scientific explanations. For instance, if as supposed we developed from lower forms of life into who we are presently, how is it that for so many millenniums we have remained at the same level development, without showing any signs of further evolving. And if the theory of survival of the fittest is true, how is it then that although cancers and diabetes, and heart disease are cutting down millions, that we are not evolving into a more resistant or resilient breed, but are rather suffering immensely without adapting to our ever changing environment, as evolution claims should be the case. Again, if survival of the fittest is true, how is it that most of us are not getting more "Fit", since the dangerous world in which we live should call for radical changes to the human frame?
The Sabbath of the fourth commandment points unmistakeably to the existence of God, and when it is adhered to and incorporated into our system of truth and practice, effectually debunks the flawed science of evolution, pointing our minds to the existence of an all-powerful God who has created not only our world, but all of the other inhabited regions that are out there in the far recesses of deep outer space. The fact that there are billions of other beings in the universe, who are not humans and not angels should give everyone reason to pause and think about how all of these created beings came into existence. And when we are humbled before the awesome Majesty of God as the ruler and owner of the universe, we will not stoop so low in our thinking as to believe that it all happened by chance.
We therefore end with a passage of scripture which confirms to our minds the existence and continual presence of our Creator, and it is high time that as a nation and as individuals,we zip up our boots and go back to our roots, which are to be found only in God, who created all things. Let's read:
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
