You and I are no different to Christians who have gone before, for the boogey man will also try his best to destabilize the remnant people of God in temporal and social interests, as a means of getting them to bow down on spiritual things. In fact, most of those who will apostatize from the truth in the future will have previously accepted the Sabbath and the Biblical teaching on the state of the dead.

Again, the prince of darkness first approached Christ in the wilderness on the issue of food, hence the reason why the mark of the beast is more about food, than one’s belief in the Sabbath. Christians in bygone years did not have to deal with, artificial intelligence and fake impersonations, as we have to. Yes, there has always been much fraud, and deception ever since there was a devil.

But with the invention of the number of online tools at your disposal, together with the apps, and other electronic devices, fraud, scams and deception have been taken to a whole new level that prophets and saints of former years might not have envisioned. Right here in the Sunshine State, we’ve been stuck in the number two position when it comes to fraud and scams, which target the elderly and the unwary in many ways. And with those advances in artificial intelligence, things have gotten much worse than in days gone by.

1st Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.

2nd Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

These last days, in which we are living currently are described as perilous times, and the designation has been given for several reasons. The Christian in our day will have to fend off multiple assaults on several different fronts, as things take a turn for the worse, as our first passages declare. It is not only salvific issues we have to pay attention to, for we are living in an evil world, and while time lasts, we will need to learn how to adapt to an ever- changing landscape.

The Scripture tells us that the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed. By this statement and others found in the Bible, we are not to expect this war to take place only on the spiritual level, with issues like the Sabbath, and the state of the dead. When the prince of darkness was permitted to make war on Job, he did not test him on the Sabbath, or on the natural immortality of the soul.

Instead, the bulk of his assaults were on temporal or social aspects of life, such as Job’s income, his family and his savings accounts. Job’s wife didn’t buckle on the Sabbath, neither did Mrs. Lot. It was the issue of temporal and social interests that caused them both to buckle under the heavy load. Ananias and his wife Sapphira were not tested on the 27 fundamental doctrines, neither was Achan, and in most of the fumbles which took place in the wilderness with the Hebrews, it was temporal things that did them in.

1st Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
