Jeremiah 30:6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
[The Great Controversy pp 618] Jacob’s night of anguish, when he wrestled in prayer for deliverance from the hand of Esau, represents the experience of God’s people in the time of trouble. Yet he leaves nothing undone on his own part to atone for the wrong to his brother, and to avert the threatened danger. So should the followers of Christ, as they approach the time of trouble, make every exertion to place themselves in a proper light before the people, to disarm prejudice, and to avert the danger which threatens liberty of conscience.
The question is: What should the remnant people of God be doing to place themselves in a proper light before the people, to Disarm Prejudice? Like old Jacob, is it possible that they too may have to go to the ATM, or would they in some special cases find it necessary to shell out some Bitcoin and Crypto, as Jacob found it necessary to do? Owing persons, or the government or other business entities will not be a good idea, when crunch time comes around.
Christians who remain trapped in debt, or who are caught up in the vicious cycle of credit, would find it necessary, sooner or later, to place themselves in a proper light before the people to disarm the type of prejudice that will be coming our way. The beast of Revelation 13 and 14 should not find us riddled with irreconcilable debt, owing the IRS, and being late on payments that are due for that will put persons in a very compromised position, where the beast will view persons as a liability, not an asset.
Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
