Acts 15:37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. 38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
He ticked off the apostle Paul, and Barnabas when they had a bitter argument between themselves in so much that they had to part ways. And the prince of darkness also succeeded in ticking of the entire conference when they had that first meeting in Acts chapter 15….. Acts 15:39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so, Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus.
You and I are not any different, and even though we may sit in church looking all nice and cute, beware, lest he also tick you off and cause you to blow a fuse in the public square, and thus, bring reproach upon the cause of Christ. Disarming prejudice in a godly manner is something the you and me in the here and now will have to be accustomed to because very difficult days are ahead for all those who will refuse to bow.
In fact, the days of earth’s final conflict for the true Christ will be the same as they were for Jacob, who was targeted with prejudice by his brother Esau. Remember, the meaning of the word prejudice, as is rendered by Cambridge dictionary means: An unfair or unreasonable opinion or feeling, especially when formed without enough thought or knowledge.
Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, you know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
