[4] The demand for unusual payment methods such as Crypto, wire transfers cash and gift cards. Be very careful about clicking on links coming from any text message, E-mail, especially if they are unsolicited. If the unknown individual asks for your password, or your signature, that is usually a sign to flee.
[5] Caller I.D. in an age of artificial intelligence. The scammers could cause your financial institution’s number to actually appear on your caller I.D. If this is the case, hang up and call the institution directly and ask to speak to a real person, before doing any transaction. [6] Last but not least, it is becoming more and more critically important for us to lead a consistent prayer life because if our hearts and minds are in tune with The Lord’s, He’ll be able to give us a heads-up more readily, than if our prayer life is generic.
It’s not that He isn’t speaking, the question is are we listening for His voice throughout the day, and in our everyday experiences. God is a Spirit, and the habits of regular earnest prayer and study of His word puts the mind in a mode in which the still small voice can be heard more readily…. Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
