Isaiah 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word.
Isaiah 24:4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. In fact, the deadly wildfires in Europe and across the United States and Canada and also in different parts of the earth, represent the fulfilment of prophecies, regardless of what the cause may be. In the book of Isaiah in particular, he specifies that great heat will be one of the signs of the last days.
Therefore, whether it be because of global warming or climate change, whether it be because of arsons, or any other manmade causes, the fact remains that an increasingly heated environment will continue to characterize the days that lead to the establishment of the abomination of desolation, which is spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Then again, the prophecy states that there will be earthquakes in different places, an undeniable fact of the here and now.
So far for this year, there have been about 77 earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.0 and greater, not to mention the one that took place recently in Colombia while we were writing out this Bible study. And we can go on and on and on, but since we are not to focus on the negatives too much, we will say that to any rational thinking person, the predictions given in Matthew 24 are lining up with the realities on the ground and therefore, we cannot, and should not reason away the fact that end time prophecies are being fulfilled.
Isaiah 24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
