How To Deal With Injustice. Part [5] 02/09/2026 (Evening thought)

Matthew 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

In other words, in the Christian dispensation, if any issues of injustice were to arise, and if any volatile situation had potential for spinning out of control, the Christian must leave the resolution of matters in God’s hands, and if God so chooses, He still has 12 or more legions of angels that He can send. Matthew 10: 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.

Matthew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, you shall not have gone over the cities of Israel till the Son of man be come…. And now, here is the same Peter, after the cross. He has learned from Christ that retaliation for injustice is not the royal way, he has learned from Jesus that the Christian must not fight fire with fire. Thus, when he again finds himself in a volatile and violent situation, he does a 180 degree in his reactions.

Peter is not locked and loaded as before, for he has turned in his weapons to the relevant authorities, and instead of uttering curses, Peter rejoices to be a partaker in the sufferings of Christ. Apparently, he is a brand-new Peter, and when compared to his prior behaviors and reactions, it is like night and day…. Acts 5: 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

Acts 5:28 Saying, did not we straitly command you that you should not teach in this name? and, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
