Matthew 9:23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn.
Matthew 9:25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose…. Mark 5:35 While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why do you trouble the Master any further? 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. 20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
1st Kings 17:22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
