Why God Created Lucifer. Part [16] 05/08/2024 (Morning thought)

Joel 3: 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

Everything we deliberately decide to do etches itself into our characters and if persons were to habitually choose the good and refuse the evil, there will come a time when all our decisions would be permanently baked into our characters, and then it will be, if we have chosen the right, that God could safely take us to heaven, knowing the we would not give Him any more trouble for eternity.

[MS. 72 1895] The light has been given me that the force of habits becomes character. No single action becomes character, but a repetition of the same thing, if evil, becomes a difficult thing to manage. Imperceptibly the inclination to do evil that is not resisted is indulged again and again until evil words escape from the lips as poisonous reptiles. Their thoughts, their imaginations, like the inhabitants of the old world, become evil and that continually.

We therefore end with two passages of Scripture to both encourage us and warn us of the very serious consequences of our choices and decisions. And, we hope and pray that God will enable, and strengthen us to choose in harmony with that which is right.

Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
