Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Before we delve into the study, we must remember that there is a battle for the mind being waged each and every day, and living victoriously will depend to a large extent on how we fight our battles. The mind is where decisions and choices are made and thus, it behooves us to keep it in the best possible shape. Many people focus on physical health without their attention being placed on the mind where decisions and choices are made which then affect every other part of the body.
Very many of the struggles persons face in life can be traced right back to the mind, and how it is managed, because there is a valid reason why God placed it on top of the body. Thus, the enemy of souls goes to work to destroy, to weaken, and to interfere with the mind, so that the processes of decision can be thrown off kilter, for he knows that whenever this becomes the case, it will just be a matter of time before things will trend to the darker side.
In one way or the next, whether it be via harmful drugs, by watching too much bad news, with lying politicians, or by listening to wrong types of music which suggest bad actions through lyrics, or by diets and foods, there is only one target on the enemy’s radar, the human mind, the seat of intelligence.
Romans 12:I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
