In The Beginning-God. Part [5] 01/21/2024 (Morning thought)

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[Southern Watchman 24 1902 par 2] No amount of reasoning or explanation can tell the whys and wherefores of the creation of the world. It is to be understood by faith in the great creative power. By faith we must believe in the mighty creative power of God through Jesus Christ. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (“are now present to the eye”). This is a matter that can be stated, but mere reasoning will never convince one of the truth of the statement.

When by faith we believe, and understand that God created the heaven, and the earth, that will set the stage for the God-factor to be incorporated into our everyday experiences, and whenever and wherever this is the case, life not only has more meaning, but it opens the door to limitless possibilities that aren’t available to the person who refuses to believe.

Therefore, we are not going to dwell on any effort at proving God; instead, we will examine how the God factor is synthesized in the lives of the persons who choose to believe, and by extension, we invite every person to incorporate the first verse in the scripture into their daily living: In The Beginning-God.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
