Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Therefore, just like it was of old, this is not the very first time that most people would be hearing about the mark of the beast and the true Sabbath of the Bible. Some will be hearing it for the first time, but many others would have heard it years before, but now, the seed sown will spring up and bear fruit, to the tune of abundant harvests we didn’t anticipate.
In other words, the information had been given for many years in some cases, but the issues were not brought prominently to the forefront of the intellect and therefore, the outpouring of The Holy Spirit will accomplish that which could not be done under less favorable circumstances.
[Publishing Ministry pp 356] The results of the circulation of this book [The Great Controversy] are not to be judged by what now appears. By reading it, some souls will be aroused, and will have courage to unite themselves at once with those who keep the commandments of God. But a much larger number who read it will not take their position until they see the very events taking place that are foretold in it.
Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
