Exodus 34:5 And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. 6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.
The 1000 years of peace doctrine is based upon the false interpretation of God’s word and character, for it predicts peace and righteousness, even after the Bible plainly says that our planet will be obliterated by the second coming of Christ. It follows on the heels of that one-sided view of God and by deliberately distorting the plainest passages of Scripture, many are lulled into that false sense of security, only to be awakened after probation has been permanently closed when it will be too late to make their calling and election sure.
Even though it is true that God takes no pleasure in the death and destruction we are seeing today, He often permits the laws of sowing and reaping to run their natural course, unless there’s a change of mind and a change of practice in individuals. Thus, it is important for us to harbor only balanced, Scriptural views of the God whom we serve, so that we would not take His grace, and mercy for granted, or worse yet, allow His warnings, and entreaties to fall on deaf ears as did the Antediluvians of Noah’s day.
Thus, the following is the only correct view of God presented in the Bible, and it must not be watered down by any smooth-talking preachers, who might seek to scratch itching ears with unscriptural sayings which God never recognizes or endorses.
Exodus 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
