Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
If we were to go the route of legalizing that which God forbids, doing so would only cement us in a course of action that would make salvation unnecessarily difficult. It is the will of God that any and every deviation, issue and imperfection in ourselves be addressed through the power of the written and Living word, for this is how man is to live, not by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
The Bible teaches us that we are to make no provision for the flesh, to satisfy it in the lusts thereof, which means that the cravings and desires of our fallen nature are never to be allowed to dictate morality, let alone distorting the important distinctions of the sexes given by God Himself.
We’ll therefore end with two passages of scripture which confirm to us the sacred truth, that change for the better, is always the foundation and working principle in the salvation wrought out through Jesus Christ, and as such, we are not to grovel in miseries, but rejoice in hope, for with God, nothing shall be impossible.
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
