Pros And Cons Of foreknowledge. Part [5] 05/10/2022 (Evening thought)

Isaiah 46:Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.

When it comes to studying the foreknowledge of God there are certain foundational facts that are to be taken into consideration:

[1] Given His accurate knowledge of future events, God never makes a mistake; God never has and He never will.

[2] A clear knowledge of the future moves God to make good, responsible decisions, which He always does.

[3] Knowing the future, as it pertained to the creation of intelligent beings, did not mean that the future would be all good, because foreknowledge has pros and cons.

[4] At the end of the day, everything God does will be shown to make perfect sense.

So, let us take a trip to heaven and ask of The Lord some of the nagging questions in the minds of some folks who erroneously believe that God has made a few mistakes. When God decided to bring angels in to existence, God knew that somewhere down the line one of them would rebel, and cause trouble for the universe.

Matthew 21:24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
