Apocalyptic Prophecies. Part [6] 01/22/2022 (Evening thought)

Isaiah 4:5 And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense.

The Lord would have us to understand that the overwhelming majority of the apocalyptic prophecies given in the scriptures do not delineate anything that God is doing to us. In most cases, the prophecies are just stating the natural results of our departures from that which is written for our own good.

Now, it is true that in Revelation 16, God will act in a decisive manner in the seven last plagues that are to be poured out upon the earth, but until that time when human probation will be permanently closed, the bulk of troubles will be the inevitable results of what we have done to ourselves, in departing from God’s ideals that are written.

Climate change and global warming are the direct results of a constant violation of the agricultural and environmental laws given us by The God of heaven, which, if they were followed, would have staved off very much of the drought, wildfires, heat, storms, and the resulting devastation we are seeing today.

Psalms 91:Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
