God Versus Beast Principles. Part [10] 01/17/2022 (Morning thought)

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

The first beast mentioned in Revelation 13 was a persecuting power, which enforced its dogmas on those under its jurisdiction, and which ultimately resulted in the horrors of the dark ages. The state’s interpretation of the Bible was made the standard of godliness for all, and dissenters found themselves having to hide in caves and dens of the earth.

But since that time, the very same beast principle has dressed itself in new sacerdotal garments, it has gone to department stores, and purchased modern suits and ties, and it has now taken up residence in philosophies, ideologies, and concepts that seem on the surface to have the greater good of the people in mind.

Whenever, and wherever persons are being denied the basic necessities of life for no other reason than not sharing the same convictions of conscience as do others, there the beast principle will be raising its ugly head, as the book of Revelation declares will be the case in the not too distant future.

Revelation 13:And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
