The Omicron Variant. Part [2] 01/04/2022 (Evening thought)

Jeremiah 8:21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. 22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

As we seek to address the current threat of the latest variant, Omicron, there are certain truths in God’s word that He wants us to give special consideration for such a time as this. These truths will be outlined clearly, later on in the study after we have reviewed some relevant information from the CDC and other experts, pertaining to their ongoing efforts to combat the disease.

The answers to the following questions are coming from reliable sources, experts in the business, such as the CDC, John’s Hopkins university, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Mt. Sinai Health System and the CDC director, Doctor Rochelle Walensky. Question: Do the vaccines prevent persons from getting the virus, and from spreading it to others?

Answer: “Vaccines are designed to prevent serious illness, not to prevent infection or prevent any symptoms,” Dr. Anna Durbin, director of the Center for Immunization Research at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said during a briefing Wednesday. Fully vaccinated people who get a COVID-19 "breakthrough" infection can spread the virus to others even if they are not symptomatic, Centers for Disease Control Director Rochelle Walensky told CNN on Thursday.

Exodus 15:25 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, 26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that heals thee.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
