Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
When science as we know it has run out of solutions and answers to the many diseases that are coming upon the earth, this will then create a dire need and will set the stage for what the prophetic word has declared will most certainly come to pass. Devils will literally take the stage in real time, to presumably combat the onset of diseases of all sorts, and because peoples’ backs will be against a wall, it would seem as the only and logical way to go.
[The Great controversy pp 624] As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ. The church has long professed to look to the Savior's advent as the consummation of her hopes. Now the great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come. In different parts of the earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the Son of God given by John in the Revelation.
The shout of triumph rings out upon the air., “Christ has come! Christ has come!” He heals the diseases of the people, and then, in his assumed character of Christ, he claims to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday, and commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed.
Revelation 13:14 And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
