Acts 12:6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. 7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
Angels attend church regularly, and are to be found in the assemblies of both the righteous and the wicked. It is not rare instances we are referring to, we are speaking of occurrences which happen on a daily, and regular basis. This first truth pertaining to the capabilities of holy angels is set in stone, so that we would understand that we have never been alone, and that angels do intrude into the human experience on many occasions.
From the above, and other scriptural references we can conclude the following points, as they pertain to the capabilities of holy angels: [1] They can speak in any known language that man uses, even dialects in rural areas and provinces that have not yet been figured out by linguists. [2] They can pass through any solid or liquid matter known to man with absolutely no problem.
[3] Angels can single out one or more persons in a room, and speak audibly to those specific persons, without others in the same room hearing or seeing anything abnormal. [4] Angels can intrude into all of our five senses to communicate on different levels including the sense of touch. [5] They can remain invisible or visible when in the assemblies of men, at their discretion. [6] Holy angels can, and do work miracles at the direction of God.
Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
