Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
A person’s good intentions never excuses him or her from the obligation of God’s law, and though some may try to change or modify His commandments while retaining some of the same good concepts, it falls short of God’s will, and as such it will never be accepted in His sight. Now, there are some who have in sincerity, been in ignorance upon this point, and God sees and knows their hearts.
That’s why God is now calling on folks to leave their congregations, churches, denominations and any affiliations, if those organizations won’t, or do not subscribe to the entirety of His law. The door of mercy will still be open for such persons but there would have to be a definite separation from congregations and churches which continue to be in a selective and subjective mode of thought, when it comes to obeying God, plain and simple!
God is seeking those who are willing to worship Him in spirit and in truth, for that’s the only combination that is specified in His word by Jesus. Therefore, in our day, a true believer will not only be defined by an acknowledgement of God, or even by being baptized the correct way by immersion. Any profession of Christianity which does not include a willingness to obey God’s laws, as more revelations of His will are known and understood, will fall short of the mark in the day of final accounts.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are sorcerers, and whore-mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
