Evolution Versus Creation. Part [10] 04/26/2021 (Morning thought)

Leviticus 26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. 35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

Sadly, Darwinian theories have begun to invade the minds of the remnant, so that many of us have come to think of the age of this world in terms of millions of years, instead of in thousands, as the scriptures clearly teach. If the Bible teaches six thousand, and the prophet of God for our day says six thousand, then if we refuse the veracity of those sacred statements, then we have been invaded by Darwin.

The chronological order of persons and their offspring given in Genesis chapter 5 and 11, together with the 2300-year prophecy of Daniel, when compiled and added to the genealogies given by Matthew and Luke, can never come even close to a million. The reason why one thousand years of Sabbatical rest comes due in Revelation 20 is because the earth has only been in existence for approximately 6000 years, during which time it has not rested in harmony with the laws given to us by God.

The world was not in existence for millions of years, before God brought order out of chaos. He brought order out of chaos on the first day of the week, the very same day in which the creation of the world took place. Anything that suggests otherwise would destroy the very reason why the commandment on the Sabbath was given. In addition, such conclusions would severely limit God’s power in our minds, because it is a fact that new planets are birthed almost daily. This is not something far-fetched, it’s as real as this blog you’re reading. Just ask Google.

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
