Evolution Versus Creation. Part [3] 04/23/2021 (Evening thought)

Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Evolution has inherent selfishness at its core, for it pits persons and species against each other in the mad rush to survive. The principle of survival of the fittest will ultimately mean that some individuals would get crushed in the process, and whereas all individuals are on a level playing field at the foot of the cross, evolutionists state that the less fortunate won’t stand a chance in the battle to survive.

From this principle of survival of the fittest, springs the principle of competition which is what drives all major league sports. The thinking that folks have to beat someone else in order to be the best is entirely contrary to Biblical principles, and anything that is contrary to scripture, is by default anti-Christ in nature, to a greater or lesser degree. In the Bible, all human beings get a chance to win, and all will receive the prize, if the stated conditions are met.

The strongest, the biggest, the richest, the baddest, the greediest, and the best, are never allowed to bully, or buy their way into God’s kingdom, at the expense of the weaker and, less fortunate, as is too often the case in Darwinian modes of thought. Thus, when evolution is pitted against creation, we have the principle of selfishness warring against selflessness.

Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
