Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.
The phrase “Lift up your heads” refers to the mental attitude that we are to cultivate during these times in which we are living. Whilst faith, courage, hope and anticipation of Christ’s soon return are to move us to greater godliness, we must at the same time be careful not to become influenced and inundated by the barrage of bad news engulfing the airwaves.
At no other time in earth’s history have so many, in high and low places, succumbed to a multitude of conspiracy theories, and never before have so many been willing to believe a lie. Therefore, the remnant are to shun, and avoid as much as possible, hearing and reading of these things, for as the Bible says “By beholding we become changed.”
The other pressing issue that is to grasp our utmost attention and energies, is the fulfilling of the great commission in our neck of the woods, and wherever possible, worldwide. Just as Noah invested time, energy, and money into what he believed, and preached, just so should the Remnant people of God be busy with advancing the interests of God’s kingdom throughout the world.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
