Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
These passages of scripture reveal to us the only two sacred institutions given by God to the human family in the garden of Eden. The first, which is the seventh day Sabbath, was given so that we would not forget who our Creator is, and that as His children, we also should rest from our labors over the sacred hours, as He rested from His. If this institution was observed by the human family as it ought to be, there would be no false theory of evolution teaching our children that they came from monkeys, or were derived from other lower forms of life over millions and millions of years.
The other sacred institution given in Eden is marriage, between one man and one "Female" wife, as the building blocks for all society, and the foundation for all families of the earth. Thus, whenever the sacred institution of marriage is interfered with for any reason, the crumbling of society is the sure result, and the floodgates of woe are opened upon persons, families, and communities, as the general dissolution of the cohesive framework of the marriage relation ensues. This is the reason why satan has worked so relentlessly to destroy the family as God ordained it to be, for he well knows that if he is successful in this area, the destruction of society is sure to follow. Let's read:
Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
What took place on June 26th 2015, is therefore much worse than the day that Pearl Harbor was bombed, and is much worse than all civil wars and world wars combined, for by this act, the destruction of society has been set in motion, and will not stop until Christ comes to bring the history of earth to a final and permanent close. Furthermore, God will have us understand the signs of the times in which we now live, because now that the sacred marriage institution has been destroyed, there is only one other shoe to drop, and that is the elimination of the seventh day Sabbath as The Creator's holy day of rest.
And just as many people across the land rejoiced when God's law on marriage was overturned by the courts, just so many people will rejoice when the Sunday blue laws that are already on the books, are again reinstated, and when this is done, the final nail in the coffin would have been placed, and the probation of nations and individuals will finally come to a close. Let's read:
Isaiah 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. 4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God. G.c pp 605.
Thus, as the institution of marriage was decided upon by the court, and the many millions who followed in its train, just so the other sacred institution of the Sabbath will be decided upon by those in high and low places, and therefore, it is imperative that all true soldiers of the cross now take their stand for the right, not in a halfhearted, listless manner, but under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to take the triumphs of the cross to a dying world. As we witness the gradual dissolution of marriage and society as a whole, let us not therefore sing "Hey sara sara, whatever will be will be", but let us instead use this opportunity to be align ourselves fully with God's kingdom of light, and let us help others to do so, who are now groping in darkness, for the time is at hand.
We therefore end with a passage which calls on us to live in readiness, and to help to get others ready, for now is our salvation much nearer than when we first believed. Let's read:
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
