2nd Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
This passage of scripture teaches us the solemn truth that preparations are now being made for the appearance of literal antichrist across the face of the earth, at different times and in different places. The ground work is being laid by the many smooth talking false prophets who have proliferated exponentially in recent years, teaching and embracing doctrines that are in harmony with the principles of the kingdom of darkness, all of which sound good to itching ears, but which will ultimately lead those who espouse them into the snare of the great, final delusion.
The way that the framework is being put in place is via the new and all-inclusive form of Christianity that has recently emerged, in which saints and sinners are all concluded as being righteous, once they name the name of Christ, even whilst living in direct violation of the sacred principles and laws that are the hallmarks of God's kingdom. The doctrine that teaches us that we can live as we like and do as we please, while expecting to be saved in God's kingdom, may sound smooth and pleasing to the carnal mind, but is not substantiated anywhere in God's word, and is scheduled to meet with signal disappointment when Christ returns. The truth of this matter is clearly laid out in the scriptures, so that no one need be deceived. Let's read:
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
This statement of fact is as plain as plain can be, yet in our day we have many standing in the pulpits of the land, teaching quite the opposite, and even countenancing the worst kinds of abominations, all in the name of Christ. The embracing of same-sex marriage by many prominent religious figures is just one of the many preparations for antichrist now being made, for although God loves the sinner, yet He hates the sin, and therefore, whatever might be the evils we are suffering with, it is His purpose to save us from our sins, not in our sins. To put it bluntly, the Bible specifically states that no effeminate man, or lesbian, who deliberately continues in sin, and refuses to be cleansed by the grace and power of God, will enter the pearly gates. Be not deceived, for it will not happen under any circumstances. Let's read:
1st Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
It is therefore of critical importance, in our listening and studying of the word of God, that we interpret along godly lines of thought, and not succumb to the sophistries and false doctrines of the many false prophets of the day. The devil specializes in the principle of gradualism, by which a little error is introduced to the masses at first, and then as he sees the multitudes gladly embracing it, he then ratchets up the falsehoods, until we can now have homosexuals standing in the pulpits of the land, handling the sacred oracles of God, all in the name of Jesus, and under the banner of a pseudo type of love. These are the deceptions that Christ warned us of with tears, hoping that all intelligent persons will rise up and take heed.
The word of God must never be interpreted in a subjective manner to make it mean what we desire, but rather, it should be made its own interpreter, with its students waiting humbly at the feet of Christ, willing to be taught and instructed in the ways of His choosing. Any other method of study or exegesis will result in utter ruin, and therefore it is incumbent upon us to let the scriptures speak for themselves, so that the truths God has given do not become irreversibly blurred to our vision. We therefore end with a passage of scripture which enjoins the study of the scriptures with a humble and teachable spirit, for thereby we would be able to clearly detect the preparations now being made for the entrance of antichrist in the very near future. Let's read:
2nd Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast"... 15 "Known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
