Revelation13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Here in this passage of scripture we see a system of worship being set up in direct opposition to God, and this will be based on the miracles that satan will perform directly, or through his many agents. As a general rule of thumb miracles always carry more weight in satan's kingdom than truth, and that's why the multitudes of people who believe in miracles as their primary evidence of what they believe, are extremely vulnerable to the deadly assaults of satanic agencies who come along working many miracles. This is what God has been warning our present generation of for so many years, and this is exactly what has been gaining momentum across the globe. Let's read:
2nd Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
When Pharaoh king of Egypt was given the words of God through Moses, his heart was hardened through the counterfeit miracles his magicians were able to perform through the power of satan. Let's read:
Exodus 7:9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.
And with every additional manifestation of miracles, whether from God or from satan, he found himself craving greater and yet greater evidence until his mind became so deluded that even his magicians protested against his abject stupidity. Let's read:
Exodus 8:16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 18 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said. 7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
Pharaoh's mind became darker and more darkened by error because of miracles, and he finally reached a stage where he was no longer able to reason soberly from cause to effect. He literally became insane, for his intellectual powers were being held in subjection to miraculous manifestations, until he found himself with his army in the middle of the red sea, in pursuit of the Jews, where he met his demise together with all of his attending soldiers. One man, gone completely insane, caused the death of thousands of men, women and children, all because of his belief in counterfeit miracles and the errors associated with them.
History is again being repeated, and the miracle working power of demons is scheduled to take the world by storm, with the same results that took place with pharaoh and the Egyptians. Millions upon millions of people will lose their intellectual powers of reasoning because of miraculous manifestations, and will be deceived into worshiping satan who comes masquerading as Christ. Let's read:
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
2nd Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
God is now calling all sincere and honest-hearted people everywhere to forsake the multitudinous errors that have taken deep root in modern Christianity; the sunday-sacredness, the immortality of the soul, the abrogation of the ten commandments, the purgatory, the self-righteousness, all of which are being confirmed by signs and lying wonders performed through the power of the evil one, are to be resolutely rejected on the basis of scripture.
We therefore end with a passage of scripture, that promises to the honest seeker for truth, the ability to clearly discern between right and wrong, good and evil, if the scriptures are made the foundation of our thoughts, decisions, and actions Let's read:
Psalms 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
