Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

It is a good idea to consult with God first before you consult with your doctor or surgeon, for by so doing you will have asked The Lord to take control of that situation up front. Thus, however it may turn out, at least you will have had the assurance that you asked God first, and this will give you confidence to pray, if any complications arise. [2] Avoid unnecessary surgery if you can, especially those that are done just to be fashionable and those that endeavor to change one’s gender.

1st Corinthians 6:19 What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? 20 For you are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's. [3] Wherever it is possible, allow naturally occurring materials to be used, that will be more in harmony  with the human body.

Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof….. John 9: 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7 And said unto him Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

2nd Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, thus saith the Lord, set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In some instances, organs were harvested from folks who were still living, and in Alabama, it was found that inmates in the prison system had their organs removed after death, without their families knowing what had taken place. Thus, what God originally gave us, as something to be used only when necessary, has morphed into a multibillion industry, and with very little oversight in some developing countries, third world countries, or in far east countries.

God could never approve of such surgeries where organs of nonconsenting individuals are bought and sold on the black market for cash. That is why God says that the abuse of something good is taking place, and has to be addressed by the Christian who is living today. It is an undeniable fact, that every good thing God has given us, would inevitably be perverted by the prince of darkness.

And even though we should not throw out the baby with the bath water, we should seek guidance from God, and His word whenever a surgery becomes necessary. Thus, the Bible study for today will focus on guiding principles to be observed, whenever the Christian is considering surgery, so that God’s approval may rest upon the procedure. [1] Whatever you need to do, and whatsoever you plan to do, as far as surgery is concerned, it is highly recommended that persons check in with The Great Physician first so that he can direct the human agent in the procedure.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
