Surgeries God Approves Of. Part [4] 08/20/2026 (Morning thought)

Matthew 4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

That’s the reason why He is referred to as The Great Physician, for every right practice, concept and all so called discoveries in medicine, have their origination in Him. This is the reason why when Jesus was on this earth, He could heal everyone of any disease, whether it’s a fever, malady, mental illness, or physical disability, he healed them all, for He not only created us, He is also the greatest and best Physician.

That’s why God asks the following question, even as He looks down from heaven and is concerned as the inhabitants of the earth turn to alternative ways and means in medicines and surgeries, as they too often leave Him out of the picture, as if He does not know what He is doing. When He introduced the concept of surgery, He did so to meet a necessity, and thus, He shows us that it is right and wise to have surgical procedures, where there is a need.

God has also blessed certain people with gifts and talents in the medical field, to be used in harmony with Biblical principles….[Christ’s Object Lessons pp 349] The skillful touch of the physician’s hand, his power over nerves, and muscles, his knowledge of the delicate organism of the body is the wisdom of divine power, to be used in behalf of the suffering. Thus, God approves of surgery, wherever it is for the benefit of humanity, and wherever it is employed to fill a valid need.

Jeremiah 8: 22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!

Surgeries God Approves Of. Part [3] 08/20/2026 (Evening thought)

Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there anything whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

God could have formed Eve only from the dust, just as He did with Adam, but it was His good purpose to create her, using raw materials from Adam, coupled together with dust, and God did so for a number of good reasons. When Christ created Adam, He made him with 25 ribs, that extra one being designated for surgical removal to create Eve. Thus, deliberate planning and forethought went into the first surgery.

It is very similar to how surgeons in our day plan and strategize well, before performing surgical procedures. It all comes from God. Thus, when God brought Eve to Adam, after He had awakened out of surgery, Adam recognized in her an essential part of himself, and that is the reason why she was called woman, for she was taken out from man. The Lord also opened a flood of knowledge to the human family that would be used for our benefit in the medical field by persons.

He has blessed physicians, surgeons and doctors with the wisdom and knowledge to follow where He has led the way in surgical procedures. The concept of putting persons to sleep before they have surgery, so that they would remain in a state of unconsciousness, until after the procedure is done, originated with Christ, for the Scripture teaches us that there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1: 9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
